Agreement

By using BeamSonar you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

BeamSonar scans publicly available online discussions (such as Reddit and Hacker News) for threads relevant to a product or website you choose, scores them for relevance and buying intent using AI, and delivers alerts by email and through a dashboard. BeamSonar reads public content only; it never posts, votes, comments, or otherwise acts on any third-party platform on your behalf.

Beta status

BeamSonar is currently in beta and offered free of charge. Features, limits, and plans may change. When paid plans launch, pricing and any trial terms will be shown clearly before you are charged, and existing users will be notified in advance.

Your account

Sign-in is by email link; you are responsible for the security of your email account. You must provide a valid email address to receive alerts.

Acceptable use

• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• How you participate on Reddit, Hacker News, or any other platform is your responsibility — follow each platform's rules, disclose affiliations where required, and don't spam. BeamSonar surfaces conversations; you decide how to engage.
• Do not resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service or its alerts for a competing product.
• Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Third-party platforms

BeamSonar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc., Y Combinator, or any platform whose public content it monitors. Content surfaced by the service belongs to its respective authors and platforms.

No guarantees

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that monitoring will be uninterrupted, that every relevant thread will be found, that AI relevance scores are accurate, or that any lead will convert to business. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Subscriptions and cancellation

When paid plans are active: subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, you can cancel anytime from the billing portal effective at the end of the current period, and trials convert to paid automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Termination

You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
